The non conference poll is over and I will take a look at some of the key games and who you the voter picked and then take a look at the projected records for each conference this year.

61% of the voters feel that USC will beat Ohio St on the road.
84% of the voters feel Oklahoma will beat Miami Fla on the road.
84% of the voters feel Virginia Tech will beat Nebraska at home.
83% of the voters feel Florida St will beat USF
68% of the voters feel Notre Dame will beat Pitt on the road.
82% of the voters feel Oregon St will beat Cincinnati at home.
91% of the voters feel Virginia Tech will beat East Carolina
81% of the voters feel TCU will beat Virginia on the road.
58% of the voters feel Southern Miss will beat Virginia at home.
61% of the voters feel BYU will beat Florida St at home.
74% of the voters feel Notre Dame will beat Boston College at home.
57% of the voters feel Navy will beat Air Force at home.

Now lets take a look at the projected record for each conference. I have them ranked by the record vs FBS foes. This breaks the games down to overall non conference record which inlcudes FCS, just the FBS record and then how each conference fares in games vs BCS conference opponents.

A quick analysis shows that if the voters are correct on all their picks in the non conference games that the Big 12 will have the best overall record in games vs other FBS conference at 32-7 82%. Surprising is that the Big Ten is projected #2 at 27-8 77%. Very surprising is that the SEC comes in THIRD at 28-9 75.7%. The voters feel the WAC will win 8 games vs other FBS foes, the MAC 7 and the Sun Belt just 4.

The next category to look at is each leagues record vs BCS teams in non conference games. A very surprising number is that the ACC is called the clear winner at 13-7 65% with the only other conference projected to finish above 50% being the Pac 10 at 8-7 53%. The voters feel that the powerful SEC will be just 6-7 in non conference games vs other BCS conferences and the Big 12 will be just 4-6 40%.
