While PhilSteele.com does not affiliate itself with gambling, I do think it is interesting to see how Vegas is examining the upcoming season.
Notes:
-Last year Ohio St was a 12/1 favorite to win the championship in January and that number climbed as high as 40/1 when QB Braxton Miller was declared out for the year in August.
-The other playoff teams last year (Alabama 5/1, Florida St 5/2 and Oregon 5/1) were the top 3 (most likely) teams to win the championship last January. That's good news for Ohio St, TCU and Alabama this year.
