Daily Blog •Monday, December 21st

The Bowl Confidence Contest is under way with more than 1200 entries this year! After three bowl games there has been two upsets including a major upset with Wyoming beating Fresno St in the New Mexico Bowl. In the St. Petersburg Bowl Rutgers was impressive in their 45-24 win over Central Florida. Finally last night Middle Tennessee upset Southern Miss in the New Orleans Bowl.

So how did you do this weekend? After 3 games, the most possible points you could have is 99. I have not started off well with 2 points won and 53 lost (4%) but there are 31 bowl games left and there is plenty of time for everyone to rebound that was hurt by the two early upsets.

Thanks again to all that have entered. If you have any problems with your points or do not see your name please email Brandon@philsteele.com. Those that submitted today will be included in tomorrow's blog.

Make sure again to check the daily blog every day as we will be posting the standings here after every bowl game is played. Also check out the bowl matchup section to get the latest and greatest information on all the upcoming bowl games including, game by game stats, 2009 recaps, and checklists for every position and intangible.

Here are the standings from the four radio station subcategories. The standings from the main contest will be posted tomorrow as we are still overwhelmed with big response from the weekend.
