Daily Blog - Tuesday May 26th
Welcome to a brand new feature on the website. As opposed to making two long Weekly Notes versions, I will have a daily blog and try to pack as much information into it each day as I can. In this years 2009 which will be on the newsstands on June 9th, I made a brand new experience chart. The old chart had just the Seniors, Juniors, Sophs and Frosh from the 2 deep which analyzed the age of each team. I kept those numbers and also added in the % of lettermen returning, the % of yards offense returning, the % or tackles returning and the Career starts returning for the offensive line. A quick ananlysis shows Flordia with an AMAZING 98.9% of their tackles returning from last year and some other powers at the top of the list are Alabama at #6 with 85.1% back from their excellent D and Oklahoma at #15 with 79.8% back. At the bottom end of the scale, there are two teams that were in BCS bowls that return less than 50% of their tackles from last year (only 11 teams fall into that category) and they are USC at 46% and Cincinnatti at 34.5 with the Bearcats having just 1 returning starter on defense.% Tackle |
