Below is a chart that gives the NCAA offense, defense and redzone rankings for all the bowl teams and there are several interesting matchups.

You might want to tune in on time to the Independence Bowl this year or you may miss it as it features the NCAA's top 2 rush offenses in Air Force and Georgia Tech in what could be the shortest bowl game this year in terms of time length.

The Hawaii Bowl may be one of the most entertaining bowl games this season with two high-powered offenses in Tulsa and Hawaii and a match-up to look at will be Hawaii's #1 pass offense going up against Tulsa's #119 pass defense.

East Carolina will make their 4th straight bowl appearance this year but it was no help to their defense that ranked dead last in the NCAA in total ypg and #118 in scoring D and #116 in rush D.

Arizona does have a talented offense but they have had trouble scoring in the red zone this year (75%) and have just 29 TD's on 51 drives (#107). They will definitely have to be more efficient in the Alamo Bowl as their opponent Oklahoma St is #1 in Red Zone efficiency this year scoring 95% of the time and have the #1 total offense in the country.

The national title game features two of the best offenses in the country with Oregon having the #2 total offense, #1 scoring offense and #4 rush offense while Auburn has the #7 total offense, #6 scoring offense and #6 rush offense. While both teams do not have outstanding defenses they both rank in the top 20 in rush D (Aub #11, Oreg #16).
