Daily Blog • April 25, 2011 |

If you have not noticed already our number of daily blogs has decreased recently. We had been doing 3 blogs a week for most of the off-season packed with information concerning this upcoming football season. However as we head towards the end of April most teams have completed their spring practices which means it is magazine crunch time and we will be doing just one blog per week for the next couple of weeks.
The good news is that once the magazine is off to the press on May 13th, we will go back to doing a blog EVERY DAY!
If you need a college football fix until then, we will continue to update the Spring Guide on a daily basis where you can find all the latest and greatest information concerning all 120 teams. Get schedules, coaching changes, returning starters and other interesting tidbits.
The NFL Draft starts on Thursday and don't forget to checkout my 2011 NFL Draft Preview which is up right now and contains all the top players at each position including all the Top Combine Performers. I have also included my current Mock Draft so you can see which top player your favorite team may select on Thursday or Friday and I will have my final one updated for you in tomorrow’s blog.
If that's not enough football for you check out the blog archives we have put up so far this spring. Some of the highlights have been my two NFL Mock drafts, Top NFL Draft Prospects and the top 500 Incoming Freshman which will be featured in my College Preview.
I also want to address the March 30th Blog, which detailed some job positions that were opening here at Phil Steele Publications. First, I want to thank each and every one of the hundreds of people who sent in their resumes. The overwhelming response was flattering! As of right now the selected applicants were interviewed and we have decided to bring in someone that can help us right away with our magazine deadline. That does not rule out the chance that we analyze our labor situation again this summer so if you were not contacted this time, don’t worry your resume and information is kept on file.
I will be back with the next blog tomorrow followed by blogs on May 4th and May 11th. Then starting on May 14th we will have a blog EVERY DAY until the end of the 2010 College Football season!! Have a great day!
