Cover Facts:

Ron Powlus of Notre Dame is the only player in my 20-year history to make my national cover three straight years although back then I used to have 9 players each year on my national cover (1995-97).

Matt Barkley also made my cover three straight years but only one of them was a national cover.

Since we went to the current national cover format in 2004, only Matt Leinart of USC, Tim Tebow of Florida, Landry Jones of Oklahoma and now Braxton Miller of Ohio St have made my national cover two straight years.
