The Best and the Worst over the last 3 years.

These numbers are from the last 3 seasons combined. It does only include the 124 FBS teams that have been full members during that span. Let me share a few things that jumped out at me when looking these numbers over. While I still believe defense wins championships the National Champion for each of the last 2 years are #4 and #5 in ppg scored.  When looking at the defensive ypg Utah St is a bit of a shocker at #3 overall while there are no surprises in the PPG difference category as the top 4 were last season’s semi-finalists.

Baylor, Oregon and Marshall match their offensive YPG rank finishing #1, 2 and 3 while Michigan St being #1 in yards allowed the L3Y combined may cause concern for Michigan St fans while giving Pitt fans hope as Pat Narduzzi went from being the Spartans DC to becoming the Panthers HC.

Perhaps the ONE stat which stuck out to me the most is Oregon’s Turnover margin the last 3 years. Oregon is +55 TO’s in that span while the #2 team is Arizona St with “only” 35 or an average of 6.7 fewer per season.

2015 College Football Preview
available right now on iTunes & Google Play!

1). It is available WEEKS before the magazine hits the newsstands on July 1st! It not only allows you to get the magazine weeks before it hits the book stores but it will save you wear and tear on your printed magazine. If you get both you can use it as your mobile version of the magazine and that will keep your actual magazine from getting dog eared early in the year.

2). It’s easy to use and works perfectly for both the iPhone, iPad and Android Devices. The download process may take up to 10-15 minutes but that’s because we have 352 pages with jampacked information!

3). No bugs, no issues, take it with you where ever you go!

4). Non-U.S. Customers: The magazine will not be on the newsstands internationally, the only way to get the 2015 College Football Preview is to order through our offices and pay at least $35 (includes S&H) or get it on iTunes or Google Play  for just $9.99.
