Strength of Wins/ Pain of Losses.
Strength of Wins
I find this chart to be very interesting every year. How it’s devised is if you beat an FBS opponent you get credit for all their wins over their FBS opponents. In this first chart below you can see Strength of Wins. For example Northwestern faced Stanford, Duke, Ball St and Minnesota and those teams have a total of 13 wins putting them at the top of this list with Florida being ranked #1. At the bottom you will see UCF, Wyoming, North Texas, New Mexico St, and Kansas. While there are only 5 winless teams my chart grades 20 teams as having credit with a win but their foes have not won a single game vs a FBS foe.
Here is the Complete list of Strength of Wins with rank:

Pain of Losses
This next chart we will go over the Pain of Losses. Here if you lose to an opponent you get credit for all their losses. While there are 20 teams unbeaten, there are an additional 23 teams who have only lost to an unbeaten foe. Of those 23, 9 teams have 2 losses to unbeaten foes. What really stands out in this chart is Ball State (highlighted in green). All 3 of their losses were to unbeaten teams Texas A&M, Northwestern and Toledo. The top of this list you will see Wyoming with a combined 16 foe losses. Their foe losses include Appalachian St, New Mexico, Washington St, E Michigan and North Dakota. Unlike the Strength of Wins chart, the Pain of Losses chart does include a loss to an FCS foe. I count that loss a 4 towards the combined foe loss record due to the weakness of the opponent.

Overall Wins and Losses
In this last chart below you can see the overall wins and losses. As you can see the top teams are Northwestern, Florida, Texas A&M and Ohio St. The bottom teams are all the winless teams. The most interesting team here is Iowa St (highlighted in green). If you take a closer look, Iowa St is the only team that has a win vs a winless team and both losses are vs unbeaten teams. So they will have a 0-0 record.
